Studio Maestro offers an annual Christmas Workshop for the full-time matriculated student. This is a week-long intensive period in which dancers are cast in ballets that are to be rehearsed and performed in the spring. It is an exciting period which allows for the dancers and the faculty to create and set the spring production.

With the permission of the Balanchine Trust, Studio Maestro has had the right to perform Balanchine ballets such as Stars and Stripes, Faust, Harlequinade, Serenade, Chaconne, Episodes, Four Temperaments and Concerto Barocco. The repertoire includes excerpts from Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Le Bayadere, SwanLake, Diane and Acteon Pas de Deux and other classical ballets.

During workshop Studio Maestro always offers its dancers the opportunity to work with new and noteworthy choreographers in the dance community.
