Mrs. Umanskaya received her training in Russia at the College of Music and Theater in Moscow. She has been an accompanist at studio maestro for 9 years. She is also known for teaching piano, conducting, and for her skills as an actress. Currently Raisa also works at Perry Dance, Marymount College and Ballet tech. In the past, she has worked as an accompanist at Broadway Dance Center, Ballet Academy East, David Howard School, Julliard and City Center.
