FALL/SPRING 2008-2009
AUDITION

248 WEST 60th STREET, NEW YORK, NY 10023

SUNDAY JUNE 1st, 2008

Auditions will be held at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, home of Studio Maestro and Manhattan Youth Ballet a 18,000 square foot brand new facility behind the Lincoln Center. MMAC offers Open Classes from ballet to fitness and toddler programs.

12:00pm age 5 to 7-years-old
There is a $40 application fee for auditions. Please bring a picture in first arabesque, a head shot and a birth certificate.

Children should bring ballet practice clothes and ballet slippers. Pre-registration is recommended. Registration on the day of the audition will take place one hour prior the beginning of the audition. No dance training required

1:00pm age 8 to 10-years-old
There is a $40 application fee for auditions. Please bring a picture in first arabesque, a head shot and a birth certificate.

Children should bring ballet practice clothes and ballet slippers. Pre-registration is recommended. Registration on the day of the audition will take place one hour prior the beginning of the audition
Children must be 8 years old by August 31, 2008 to enroll for the 2008-09 fall semester.

1:45pm age 11 to 13-years-old
There is a $40 application fee for auditions. Please bring a picture in first arabesque, a head shot and a letter explaining why you are choosing Manhattan Youth Ballet as your dance school.

All students 11 years old and up are expected to have had previous ballet training.
Students must bring ballet practice clothes, ballet slippers and pointe shoes.
Pre-registration is recommended. Registration on the day of the audition will take place one hour prior the beginning of the audition.

3:00pm 14 years and up
There is a $40 application fee for auditions. Please bring a picture in first arabesque, a head shot and a letter explaining why you are choosing Manhattan Youth Ballet as your dance school.
