Studio Maestro was founded in 1995 by Rose Caiola.
The location on 68th Street between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West is the birth place of Studio Maestro. For the past fifteen years we have developed a pre-professional ballet academy based on the French School of classical technique.
The pre-professional ballet academy renamed Manhattan Youth Ballet is now on 248 West 60th Street at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center.
The studio host several other dance and exercise form such as, Luigi Jazz Centre, Shuffles, West Side Music Together, Flamenco, Wu Mei Gongfu,and Ellen Robbins.
Studio Maestro @ 68th Street offers three individual studio spaces for rental on long-term and short-term bases available for private or group lessons. Studios space is generally rented for fitness, dance rehearsals, martial arts, auditions, various forms of children’s classes and piano and voice lessons.
Studio #1 has a bare wood floor appropriate for Tap, Flamenco, Martial arts and Fitness activities. Studios 2 & 3 feature Marley flooring. All Studios are equipped with a Stereo system, upright Piano mirrored walls, and ballet barres.
